Our vision at Phoenix Arise Foundation is to create a community where survivors of sex trafficking find empowerment and healing. Inspired by personal experiences and a deep commitment to social justice, our founder, Callie, leads the charge in providing comprehensive support services. Together, we strive to raise awareness, advocate for change, and offer a sanctuary of hope for those on their journey to recovery.
At Phoenix Arise Foundation, we are guided by our core values:
Empowerment: Our goal is survivor empowerment and to help them reclaim their lives.
Compassion: We approach our work with empathy and understanding.
Justice: We advocate for systemic change and champion the rights of survivors.
Community: We foster a supportive and inclusive community for survivors.
Hope: We provide a beacon of hope for survivors to rebuild their lives with dignity and resilience.
Our team is made up of dedicated professionals and volunteers who are passionate about making a difference in our communities. We work tirelessly to ensure that our programmes and services are meeting the needs of those we serve.
In this brief clip, watch as I introduce one of our most interactive workshop activities at Phoenix Arise Foundation. I explain a debate focused on online safety, where youth discuss whether it’s ever safe to meet someone from the internet in person, and what precautions they believe are necessary. This activity is designed to get participants thinking critically about the risks and safety measures involved in the digital world.
Watch this engaging clip from our Phoenix Arise Foundation workshop, where youth dive into a highly interactive debate on whether parents should have access to their phone and online activity. Both sides passionately discuss privacy vs. parental control!
An important topic and discussion on how traffickers might make their victims dependent on them in hopes to isolate them from others.
Check out this fun clip from our Phoenix Arise Foundation workshop! After a heavy debrief, the youth play an interactive game called ‘Bus’ to help them unwind and leave on a positive note. It’s a great way to bring smiles and laughter after serious discussions.
